Role and Responsibilities

1. Position

As Marketing and Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to maximize sales of Gratitude Farms' organic produce and value-added products through B2B, retail, and e-commerce channels in Hyderabad market (and later to other cities)

2. Responsibilities

Sales Management and Growth:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets for fresh organic produce from Gratitude Farms (around Hyderabad) to B2B and retail customers.
  • Manage sales processes, track performance, and optimize sales efforts.
  • Identify and secure new B2B and retail partnerships to expand market reach.

E-commerce Sales:

  • Drive sales through existing and new e-commerce platforms.
  • Develop and execute online marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive online sales.
  • Manage product listings, pricing, and promotions on e-commerce platforms.
  • Optimize online customer experience.

Business Development - Value-Added Products:

  • Identify and develop new value-added product opportunities utilizing farm produce.
  • Develop business plans and marketing strategies for value-added products.
  • Establish distribution channels for value-added products.

Marketing Strategy and Implementation:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote Gratitude Farms and its products.
  • Identify target markets and tailor marketing campaigns accordingly.
  • Oversee brand positioning, messaging, and consistency across all marketing channels (digital, social media, print).
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key B2B and retail clients.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.

Team Leadership:

  • Contribute to the development of professional abilities within the sales/marketing staff.

Innovation:

  • Foster a culture of innovation to improve operations, product offerings, and marketing effectiveness.

3. Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: 4-5 years in sales and marketing of fresh produce, preferably organic in Hyderabad market (must have requirement).
  • Experience with B2B sales, retail sales, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of the agricultural industry and organic farming practices.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in Telugu, English, and Hindi.
  • Team player with leadership skills.
  • Education: Graduation; Preferred - MBA in Agri-business, Agriculture, Sales, or Marketing.
