Role & responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of electrical services for large-scale residential, commercial, healthcare, and hospitality projects.
  • Perform detailed load calculations, cable sizing, fault level analysis, and SLD (Single Line Diagram) preparation.
  • Design and review HT/LT systems, transformers, DG sets, UPS, lighting, power distribution, earthing, and ELV systems.
  • Prepare and validate BOQs, cost estimations, and technical specifications.
  • Guide junior engineers and review their designs/drawings for quality and accuracy.
  • Conduct design validation at site, coordinate with architects, structural, and other MEP services.
  • Ensure compliance with Indian (IS) and International (IEC, NEC, BS) standards.
  • Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and project presentations.

Preferred candidate profile

Electrical Engineer with 7-10 years experience in designing Electrical Services with relevant site experience and site co-ordinations.

  • Education: Any Graduate / Diploma / Postgraduate (preferably in Electrical Engineering).
  • Experience: 7 10 years of proven experience in Electrical Design for MEP (Building Services).
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of HT/LT Systems, Transformers, DG Sets, UPS, Cable Sizing, Load Calculations, SLD preparation.
  • Hands-on experience in AutoCAD (mandatory); Revit MEP preferred.
  • Familiarity with Indian & International Electrical Standards (IS, IEC, NEC, BS).
  • Project Exposure: Experience in Residential, Commercial, Healthcare, or Hospitality building projects.
  • Leadership: Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers; strong coordination with architects, consultants, and site teams.
  • Other Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication, and willingness to take client-facing responsibilities.
  • Location Preference: Open to work from Bangalore or Hyderabad.
  • Notice Period: Immediate to 60 days preferred.
