Executing Sales Strategy:
- Assist Zonal Head in translating the overall sales strategy / targets for zone to individual districts and regions
- Communicate the sales targets in the form of Journey Cycle Plan to team of Sales Officers and oversee execution as per plan
- Establish, measure timelines and mechanisms to regularly review the performance of team against the set targets and provide guidance and support to the team for identified issues
- Coordinate with the Technical Services team to ensure highest standards of customer satisfaction
- Support Zonal Head in performing periodic demand forecasting across districts; participate in sales and operations planning discussions with Zonal Head and manage timely demand planning activities
- Track competitor activities and provide data on competitor performance, price points, etc
Sales Operations:
- Oversee Sales Officers, assign their periodic targets, guide them in activity planning
- Analyse sales performance data for own team of Sales Officers to ensure course correction wherever required
- Ensure adherence to defined standard operating procedures to sell products and record sales
- Ensure compliance of team to internal technology platforms for tracking sales performance, attendance, etc
- Collaborate with Technical services team in implementing the designed marketing activities
- Ensure timely delivery of product in the assigned territory through co-ordination with logistics teams and local distributors
Dealer Network management:
- Support expansion of dealer network to maximize market penetration & sales volumes
- Drive and oversee channel partner activation through drives and campaigns
- Oversee smooth and effective rollout of trade discounts, promotions and schemes in line with functional objectives
People Management:
- Drive a performance driven culture Set goals, review performance and provide feedback so as to ensure a motivated and committed team
- Develop employee capability and build functional excellence through various learning and development interventions and mentoring initiatives
- Foster an environment of learning, excellence and innovation within the team and across teams
Execute the targeted sales numbers for region in co-ordination under guidance of Sales Manager/ Zonal Head
Ensure alignment of own sales planning to JCP
Seek regular review of own sales performance against the set targets and plan for course correction as required
Coordinate with the Technical Services team to ensure highest standards of customer satisfaction
Support Zonal Head and Sales Manager in performing periodic demand forecasting for own districts
Sales Operations:
Adhere to periodic sales targets as set by Zonal Head or Sales Manager
Update in detail the sales tracker with numbers achieved, target set, product sold in order to help performance tracking and analysis
Adhere to defined standard operating procedures to sell products and record sales
Adhere to internal technology platforms requirements for tracking sales performance, attendance
Dealer Network management:
Support expansion of dealer network to maximize market penetration & sales volumes
Onboard and activate potential channel partners through drives and campaigns
Roll-out trade discounts, promotions and schemes in line with functional objectives
Encourage dealers to avail cash discount
Drive strong relationships with dealers/sub-dealers/other influencers through CRM activities
Resolve issues of dealers within stipulated timelines
