International Technical Support- Linux


Experience : 1 to 5 years


What the Role needs to Achieve

Escalate/Report repetitive issue and give Suggestions and Improvements. They follow up on ticket in case of no response and forward ticket to higher level of support if needed.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing technical support to customers for Level I issues via helpdesk (tickets) & over calls/chats.
  • Basic installation, configuration of services such as Apache, MySQL, & Exim on servers.
  • Performing basic account migrations.
  • Adhering & maintaining SLA of chats & tickets.
  • Monitoring and responding to alerts from applications and infrastructure systems.
  • Monitoring servers for stability & taking both proactive & reactive measures to correct & prevent issues.
  • Undergo/approach technical trainings as required, learn new technologies for professional growth.
  • Actively contribute to ongoing process improvement, problem resolution & workflow improvements.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Ability to communicate with clients on Live Chat and resolve basic issues.
  • Ability to resolve Basic Technical issues.
  • Knowledge of services & running process of control panel OS
  • Knowledge of auditing the server.
  • Advance Knowledge of Control Panel (cPanel / Plesk)

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Certification in RHCE or any relevant to hosting & Server or Cloud.
