Role & responsibilities


  • Product Costing
  • Monitoring Data entry with respect to product costing in SAP
  • Ensuring required accuracy levels in data
  • Corrective action to be taken at each stage as required
  • Standard Cost vs Actual Cost: Variance Analysis Highlight the variances & deviations and follow up to close them timely
  • Analyze costs to optimize efficiency and profitability
  • Cost Control: Implementing strategies to control and reduce costs in production and operations
  • Ensuring compliance to laws and regulations relating to costing and Cost Audit
  • Advising on financial decisions based on cost Analysis to aid strategic decision-making within the company:
  • Facilitating make or buy decisions
  • In-house vs outsourced etc.
  • Analysis of Sub-Contractor cost and work allocation
  • Management Reporting: MIS to management especially in cost-related matters
  • Analysis of Cost Impact on Machine Efficiency
  • Budgeting and Analysis as required
  • Coordinate with various departments as needed to achieve the goals
