As Director of Fundraising , your role would involve overseeing and managing the

fundraising activities of an organization. Here are some key responsibilities and aspects of the


Job Profile:


1. Strategy Development : You would be responsible for developing the overall

fundraising strategy aligned with the organization goals and objectives. This

includes setting fundraising targets, timelines, and strategies for different fundraising

initiatives.

2. Team Management : Leading and managing a team of fundraising professionals,

including setting goals, providing guidance, and ensuring effective collaboration

within the team.

3. Relationship Building : Cultivating and maintaining relationships with UHNI, VC

and corporates secure financial support and partnerships for the organization.

4. Fundraising Campaigns : Planning and executing fundraising campaigns and events,

such as major campaigns, annual appeals, online fundraising drives, and special

events.

5. Grant Management : Overseeing the process of researching grant opportunities,

preparing grant proposals, and managing reporting requirements for grants received.

6. Budget Oversight : Working closely with finance and senior management to develop

and manage the fundraising budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to

maximize fundraising efforts.

7. Fundraising Analytics : Utilizing data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of

fundraising strategies and campaigns, making data-driven decisions to optimize

fundraising efforts.

8. Compliance and Reporting : Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and

reporting requirements related to fundraising activities, including financial reporting.

9. Public Relations and Communication : Collaborating with the communications team

to develop messaging and materials that effectively communicate the organization's

mission and impact to potential investor and stakeholders.

10. Board and Volunteer Engagement : Working with the board of directors and

volunteers to engage them in fundraising efforts, leveraging their networks and

resources to support fundraising goals.


Overall, the role of Director of Fundraising is crucial in securing the financial resources

needed for the organization to fulfil its mission and expand its impact. It requires strong

leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of

fundraising principles and practices.


●      Qualifications:

●      MBA Finance /CA equivalent and having overall 8 to 10 Year experience in wealth Management.

●      Preferably candidate from VC, Family office and wealth Management

●      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

●      Required candidate preferably from Venture capital.
