Overview Director of DevOps As the Director of Devops Engineering, your primary responsibility is to the people you lead and support: ensuring that they are growing as engineers, doing valuable work, and finding satisfaction in their career at Healthedge. As a lead for DevOps, technical leadership and a solid background in software development is a must, so that you’re able to challenge and grow your team members. You will have the opportunity to influence the culture, facilitate technical delivery, and work with your team on direction and execution. The Director will design containerization, and implementation/migration of large & complex applications on Public Cloud. He will play a critical role in taking org towards Predictive pipelines & SRE based model. What you’ll doAs a senior technology leader, ensure industry best practice is being adopted in terms of Infrastructure Architecture; Continuous Delivery and Integration; Deployment; Security; 3rd-level Support and Test automation.Take ownership of all infrastructure and development operations for the team and ensure that all work meets user and commercial objectives, is delivered on time, to budget and to the quality standards agreed.Create roadmap, identify delivery milestones, capacity and cost required to achieve the same.Execute the agreed upon technology strategy based on OKRStrategizing, designing and implementing highly efficient solution on Public Cloud (Amazon Web Services, Azure or GCP) for security, resilience, performant, networking, availability, Blue-green deployments in context of business application.Responsible for defining the System Development Life Cycle methodology and associated cross-functional tools to ensure adoption and continuous improvement.Understand the global state of the art in commercial cloud and open-source operationsPrioritize our efforts to raise the bar on complex software-defined infrastructureEnsure processes and training are in place for continuous improvement in our servicesHelp develop and evangelize great engineering and organizational practices Team and Stakeholder ManagementLead and develop teams of engineers spanning across time zonesAdvocate modern, agile software development practicesHiring, coaching, mentoring, feedback and hands-on career developmentBe an active part of the leadership team and collaborate with other leaders in the organizationCoordinate with management and external stakeholders or customersGrow a healthy, collaborative engineering culture in line with the company valuesSet and manage expectations with other engineering and operational teamsGlobal travel up to 5% of time for internal and external events Who you areUniversity degree in Computer Science or related software engineering fieldAdvanced level Ansible, Terraform & Python skillsExperience running production operations as SAAS or IT with critical uptime requirementsExperience running production operations for external customers and partnersFamiliarity with Devops principles and practicesLeadership ability and ability to set and maintain a high standard of excellence in operationsYou love developing and growing people and can demonstrate a track record of doing itYou are knowledgeable and passionate about software developmentYou have clarity on the drivers of quality in software engineering and an ability to ensure thatYou are organized and want your team to deliver timely software releasesYou have solid experience working in an agile development environmentYou have a thorough understanding of modern infrastructure, including Kubernetes or OpenStackYou have good knowledge of AWS, Azure cloud computing concepts & technologiesYou have practical knowledge of Linux and networkingYou have hands-on experience with software automationYou are fluent and comfortable in cloud terminology Options Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
