ead Software EngineerLead software engineering team by providing expertise in requirement gathering & analysis, solution design & documentation, and end-to-end technology delivery of business initiatives.Analyze current technology trend, and regional technology roadmap, and internal company’s technology current state and design for future convergence and sustainability.Document and monitor requirements needed to institute proposed updates.Propose and establish framework for necessary contributions from various departments.Account for possible project technical challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope.Provide detailed specifications for proposed solutions.Build and establish company software framework and development standards to align with regional direction.Design and lead internal development team in implementation of local in-house mobile or web app system for business needs.Lead various technical integration with regional platforms or third-party platform system such as EWallet partner, bank partner, lead generation partner etc.Oversee project strategies and processes.Develop guidelines for software testing.Technical support and planning for application management post go-live of business-critical applications.Experience/Skill:Bachelor or Higher Degree in Computer Science and EngineeringMinimum 10 years’ experience in back-end development, which must include programming languages like C-Sharp, NodeJS.Minimum 4 years’ experience in leading a technology team.Experience in working with CICD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.Experience in design architecture.Experience in working with RESTful APIsExperience in working with databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Azure MS SQL PaaS.Positive outlook in meeting challenges and working to a high level.Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes.Digital technology technical forward thinking and ability to design for change.Mobile App, Cloud solution, and modern web app design and development.Familiarity with any cloud services is desired, preferably Azure Cloud Services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)Innovative thinker who is positive, proactive and readily embraces change.Understanding of Business Intelligence concepts and best practices, with an understanding of its strategic importance to organizationsSuperior conceptual and analytical abilities, identifying opportunities for improvement through analysis and creative thinking.Continuous learner able to adapt new technologies and techniques to existing business needs.Capable of performing within a linear sequential design approach and an iterative approach to software development life cycle methodologies

Knowledge/Skill:

Professional technical and business documentation.In-depth understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Waterfall and Agile (DevOps or Scrum).Being good at listening skills, teamwork and demonstrates intellectual curiosity.Ability to work with a globally distributed cross functional team.Good knowledge in software documentation, standard, and best practices.Ability to deliver technical jargons in layman terms to business and vice-versa to technical team.Understanding of life insurance business is preferable.Framework: Netcore, NET Framework, Popular .NET ORM Framework like Dapper, Entity FrameworkCloud Infrastructure & Eco System: Expertise in Microsoft Azure Eco System Azure DevOps, Azure SQL PaaS, Azure Data FactoryDatabases: SQL Server, MySQL, Couchbase, MongoDBOperating Systems: Windows / LinuxVisual Studio, Visual Studio Code, SQL Server Management StudioService Bus Explorer, Azure Storage Explorer, PostmanAgile Project Management Documentation Tool: Jira, Jira Software, ConfluenceSource Code Version Control Bit Bucket, Azure DevOpsDeployment: Jenkins, Azure Kubernetes ServiceCore CompetenciesProblem solvingCreative ThinkingStrong passion in technologyEffective communicationLeadershipStrategic thinking – a great deal of analyzation is required to be a technical business analyst.
