QlikSense & SaaS Analytics Developer

Job Summary Synechron is seeking an experienced Manager specializing in QlikSense and SaaS solutions to lead data visualization and analytics initiatives for our clients. In this strategic role, you will oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable business intelligence platforms, driving insights and data-driven decision-making. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, evaluate new technologies, and guide teams to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with overall business objectives and industry standards. Software Requirements Required Skills: Extensive experience implementing and managing QlikSense dashboards and SaaS-based analytics solutions Deep understanding of data integration, data modeling, and data visualization best practices Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for SaaS deployments Knowledge of database management systems and data structures (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.) Ability to evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies for analytics optimization Experience with project management methodologies, preferably Agile/Scrum Preferred Skills: Experience with other BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Knowledge of SaaS architecture and cloud-native deployment best practices Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes Exposure to security and compliance frameworks relevant to SaaS data platforms Overall Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable QlikSense dashboards and SaaS analytics solutions aligned with client requirements Provide technical guidance, best practices, and mentorship to team members and junior developers Evaluate emerging BI and SaaS technologies, making strategic recommendations for adoption to improve data insights and operational efficiency Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective data visualization solutions Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and deployment procedures Oversee project delivery from requirements gathering through testing, deployment, and ongoing support Drive process improvements for data accuracy, visualization quality, and system performance Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new BI tools, and cloud technologies to continually enhance the organization’s analytics capabilities Technical Skills (By Category) Business Intelligence & Data Visualization: Required: Extensive experience in QlikSense development, including dashboard design, scripting, and data modeling Preferred: Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or SaaS-based analytics tools Database & Data Management: Required: Strong SQL skills; experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or cloud data platforms Preferred: Data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration frameworks Cloud Platforms & SaaS Architecture: Required: Practical knowledge of cloud deployment models (AWS, Azure, GCP) for SaaS analytics solutions Preferred: Cloud-native architecture, security, and compliance considerations Tools & Development Environment: Required: BI development tools such as QlikSense Developer Hub, SaaS management consoles, and version control systems (Git) Preferred: Automation tools for deployment, monitoring, and configuration management Experience Requirements 5+ years of experience in data visualization, BI, SaaS deployment, or related fields Proven track record leading BI or analytics projects in cloud or SaaS environments Experience mentoring teams, managing client relationships, or leading cross-functional initiatives Industry experience in finance, banking, retail, or enterprise analytics is desirable but not mandatory Alternative pathways include expertise in data engineering, cloud architecture, or software development with a focus on analytics solutions Day-to-Day Activities Lead the development and deployment of scalable QlikSense dashboards and SaaS-based analytics solutions Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and design dashboards aligned with strategic goals Evaluate new BI tools and techniques, recommending improvements for analytics capabilities Mentor and guide team members on best practices in data visualization and SaaS deployment Assist in troubleshooting issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring data accuracy and security Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications Document technical architecture, user guides, and standard operating procedures Continually research industry trends to keep solutions innovative and compliant with best practices Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or related field Certifications in QlikSense, SaaS architecture, or cloud platforms (preferred) Demonstrated success in delivering complex BI solutions and managing cross-functional teams in fast-paced environments Professional Competencies Strong analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities Leadership and team mentorship skills for technical and non-technical team members Strategic thinker capable of translating business needs into technical solutions Adaptability to fast-changing technology landscapes and project demands Continuous learning mindset focused on innovation and industry best practices Diversity & Inclusion are fundamental to our culture, and Synechron is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and is an affirmative action employer.
