Role: Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Location: Ahmedabad, GJ


Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated / Manual tests to ensure the quality of our software products. This role requires strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders.


Requirements

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

 5+ years experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or in a similar role.

 2+ years programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

 Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium,

JUnit, and Jmeter.

 Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.

 Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

 Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team

environment.


Roles and Responsibilities

 Develop and maintain automated / Manual test scripts using industry-standard tools and

frameworks.

 Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software

products.

 Identify and report software defects, track issues to resolution, and verify bug fixes.

 Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify test requirements and ensure

comprehensive test coverage.

 Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code.

 Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency and

effectiveness.

 Review and analyze system specifications.

 Execute test cases and analyze results.

 Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution.

 Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in software testing and test automation.
