OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing automated / Manual tests to ensure the quality of our software products. This role requires strong programming skills, a solid understanding of software testing methodologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively with developers and other stakeholders.
Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or in a similar role. 2+ years programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium,JUnit, and Jmeter. Solid understanding of software testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices. Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamenvironment.
Roles and Responsibilities Develop and maintain automated / Manual test scripts using industry-standard tools andframeworks. Design, implement, and execute test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of softwareproducts. Identify and report software defects, track issues to resolution, and verify bug fixes. Collaborate with developers and other team members to identify test requirements and ensurecomprehensive test coverage. Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality aspects of the code. Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to increase efficiency andeffectiveness. Review and analyze system specifications. Execute test cases and analyze results. Collaborate with the development team to ensure consistent project execution. Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in software testing and test automation.
