Description Responsibilities: EXP - 0 - 1 yr Monitoring and Surveillance: Operate and monitor various systems within the command centre, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and access control systems. Maintain constant vigilance to detect and respond to security and operational incidents in real-time. Conduct routine checks and inspections to ensure all systems are functioning correctly. Incident Response: Respond promptly to security alerts, incidents, and emergency situations. Coordinate with internal teams and external authorities as needed during incidents. Document and report incidents, including actions taken and outcomes.  Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communication. Communicate effectively with security personnel, first responders, and other relevant stakeholders. Provide clear and concise information during emergencies and incidents. Access Control: Manage access control systems and ensure compliance with security protocols. Grant or deny access to individuals based on established procedures. Issue and deactivate access cards as needed. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of incidents, activities, and communications. Generate reports summarizing key metrics, incidents, and operational activities. Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper functioning of all equipment within the command centre. Report any malfunctioning equipment for timely repair or replacement. Conduct regular checks on backup systems and emergency equipment. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams, including security, facilities, and IT, to address operational issues. Participate in training sessions and drills to enhance response capabilities. Assist in the development and implementation of security and emergency response plans.  Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in security or related fields are a plus. Proven experience as a Command Centre Operator or in a similar role. Familiarity with security systems, surveillance technology, and access control. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to make quick decisions and stay calm under pressure. Knowledge of emergency response procedures and protocols. Basic computer skills for data entry and system monitoring. Willingness to work in a 24/7 shift environment.
