About Us:
CallHub provides cloud based communication software for nonprofits, political parties,
advocacy organizations and businesses. It has delivered over hundreds of millions of
messages and calls for thousands of customers. It helps political candidates during their
campaigns to get the message across to their voters, conduct surveys, manage event /
town-hall invites and with recruiting volunteers for election campaigns.
We are profitable with 2000+ paying customers from North America, Australia and
Europe. Our customers include Uber, Democrat Party, major political parties in the US,
Canada, UK, France and Australia.
About the Role:
As a Quality engineer in CallHub, you will be responsible for the quality of our cloud
based communication and telephony software product (SaaS). Your primary role will be
to understand the requirements and product specifications clearly and thoroughly test
the functionalities of the product and ensure it's working through all possible scenarios
and record bugs to improve the quality of the finished product before we deliver to our
customers. You are expected to understand the entire product workflow, customer
experience and backend (API) and how everything affects each other and will act as the
gatekeeper for quality.
As part of the Software Engineering team, you will work with a team of highly technical
software engineers, product managers and operation engineers to produce great
products that delight customers with exceptional product experience to users, both in
terms of usability and performance by creating a comprehensive test plan and detailed
test cases covering all scenarios. Our teams are small, yet incredibly impactful and

We're looking for engineers with meticulous attention to detail, strong knowledge of
quality engineering processes and good analytical skills who are inquisitive and eager to
learn new technologies and love working in a dynamic environment. Does this sound

Your Responsibilities:
● Review product requirements and specifications and provide feedback.
● Create comprehensive, structured and detailed test plans and test cases.
● Track quality assurance metrics by analyzing and categorizing all customer
reported bugs
● Develop Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM) to ensure the test cases trace
to software requirements
● Development & Execution of automation test scripts and help with CI/CD
Integration
● Execution of all test cases and ensure defect free release
● Quickly triage and test bug fixes on an ongoing basis
● Work in an agile environment, follow process guidelines and deliver tasks
● Participate in software architecture, design discussions and code reviews
● Be proactive, take ownership and be accountable
● Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
What we’re looking for:
● 1-3 yrs experience working as a Quality Engineer
● Hands-on experience with UI testing and API testing
● Experience in writing clear and comprehensive test plans and test cases
● Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes
● Attitude of breaking the system to make the system robust for users
● Knowledgeable with bug tracking tools like JIRA and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git
● Knowledgeable in automation testing of web applications & API
● Exposure to modern AI based low-code/no-code tools like Testsigma, Tosca,
TestIM, AccelQ, Katalon etc
● Detail oriented. Ability to empathize with customers
● The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
● Team player with strong interpersonal skills, willing to ask for help and offer
support to the rest of the team
● Good written and verbal communication skills
● BE/MS/MCA from reputed institutes in India or abroad
Experience:
1-3 yrs.
