Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer (QE) to join our team, specializing in mobile and web application testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with automation tools, a solid understanding of test case development, and excellent communication skills. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively collaborate within an agile team to ensure our applications meet the highest standards of quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test strategies and plans for mobile and web applications.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases to ensure the quality of applications.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to identify, document, and track defects.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools.
  • Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous delivery of high-quality software.
  • Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide timely feedback.
  • Participate actively in all agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to resolve issues and ensure a smooth development process.
  • Create and maintain detailed test documentation, including test cases, test plans, and test reports.
  • Ensure that all testing activities are well-documented and accessible for future reference.
  • Ensure that applications meet functional, performance, security, and usability requirements.
  • Identify, analyze, and report bugs and issues in a clear and concise manner.
  • Advocate for best practices in testing and quality assurance.

 

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role in testing mobile and web applications.
  • Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI).
  • Experience Level: 6 to 8 Years

Skills:

  • Excellent understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
