Role Overview :

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Node.js Lead with extensive experience in architectural patterns, design patterns, and various architectural concerns and approaches such as Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).

- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing cloud-native applications, along with hands-on experience in cloud infrastructures like AWS or Google Cloud.

- As a Senior Node.js Lead Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, resilient, and secure web-based applications, leveraging modern API platform design principles and best practices.

Responsibilities :

- Lead the architecture and design of complex web-based applications, considering architectural concerns and approaches such as SOA, Microservices, and DDD.

- Define and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and best practices across the development team.

- Develop cloud-native applications leveraging cloud infrastructures like AWS or Google Cloud.

- Design and implement modern API platforms to enable seamless integration and communication between services.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

- Mentor and guide development teams on architectural principles, design patterns, and best practices.

- Hands-on development using Node.js, Spring, Spring Boot, and other relevant technologies.

- Implement security measures and best practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of applications.

- Utilize infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Serverless for container orchestration and deployment.

- Implement observability solutions for monitoring, logging, and tracing of applications.

- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, build, and deployment processes.

- Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to improve efficiency and productivity.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 8-10 years of overall experience in software development with a focus on architecture and design.

- Strong knowledge of architectural patterns, design patterns, and architectural concerns and approaches.

- Experience with cloud-native application development and cloud infrastructures like AWS or Google Cloud.

- Hands-on experience with modern API platform design principles and web-based application architecture.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Node.js.

- Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, and security frameworks.

- Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Serverless.

- Experience with messaging systems (e.g. RabbitMQ, Kafka), Elasticsearch, Redis, OAuth, JWT, and IAM.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
