Senior Quality Assurance Manager | Manufacturing

Responsibilities:Quality Assurance Leadership:Provide strategic leadership in developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive quality assurance programs within the manufacturing environment.Should have knowledge of ISO standards and should have conducted the ISO auditsTeam Management:Lead and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.Coordinate and delegate tasks, ensuring efficient and effective team performance.Advanced Quality Methodologies:Apply advanced knowledge in PPAP, Risk Management, DFMEA, APQP, DFQ, Design Transfer, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Lean Methodologies, 5-Why, and Problem Solving techniques.Inspection and Testing:Oversee and conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality specifications.Process Improvement:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and lead initiatives to enhance overall product quality.Documentation and Reporting:Manage and maintain accurate documentation of quality assurance activities.Generate comprehensive reports on quality metrics, providing insights for continuous improvement.Supplier Quality Management:Collaborate with suppliers to establish and maintain high-quality standards for incoming materials.Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality requirements.Root Cause Analysis and Problem Solving:Utilize advanced root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to identify and address quality issues promptly.Training and Development:Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel to enhance their understanding of quality standards and processes.
Requirements:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 10 years of progressive experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environmentProven team-leading skills, with experience in managing and mentoring a quality assurance teamIn-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with PPAP, Risk Management, DFMEA, APQP, DFQ, Design Transfer, Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Lean Methodologies, 5-Why, and Problem Solving techniquesExperience in conducting inspections, testing, and implementing corrective actionsStrong understanding of root cause analysis and problem-solving techniquesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
