Job Title: Engineering Manager, QA & Automation

Location: Bangalore


Position Overview:

We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Engineering Manager for QA and Automation to oversee all aspects of quality assurance throughout our organization. He/She will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations, and leading a team of QA & SDET professionals to achieve organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • and maintain quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of quality assurance processes.
  • and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
  • and enhance an automation sub practice including automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, Karate etc.
  • regular audits and inspections of processes, procedures, and products to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • with cross-functional teams, including product development, engineering, and delivery, to drive continuous improvement and resolve quality-related issues.
  • customer complaints and non-conformance issues to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • and maintain documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and work instructions, to support quality assurance activities.
  • informed about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to quality assurance.
  • quality objectives, initiatives, and performance metrics to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • a culture of quality excellence and continuous improvement throughout the organization.


Qualifications:


  • of 12 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • knowledge of quality management systems, methodologies, and tools (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing).
  • in Travel, retail, banking preferred.
  • leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • ability to lead and motivate a team, drive change, and achieve results.
  • to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
  • in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
  • Quality Manager (CQM) or similar certification preferred.
