FMCG Cash Van Sales Cum Merchandiser

The ideal candidate will be responsible for selling FMCG products directly to retail outlets via a cash van, ensuring proper merchandising and stock levels at each location. This role requires a combination of sales expertise and the ability to manage inventory and product displays effectively.Candidates must have prior experience in Qatar.

Key Responsibilities :Sales & Distribution :Drive the cash van to designated retail outlets according to the daily route plan.Sell FMCG products directly to customers, ensuring all products are sold at the correct price and payment is collected upon delivery.Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to enhance sales and business opportunities.Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.Merchandising :Ensure that all products are well merchandised at the point of sale, adhering to the company’s display standards.Rotate stock and monitor product expiration dates to reduce waste and returns.Refill shelves and maintain optimal product levels to ensure continuous availability.Monitor competitor activities and report any market intelligence to the management.Customer Service :Address customer concerns or complaints professionally and promptly.Offer suggestions to customers on product choices and promotions.Regularly collect customer feedback to improve service and product offerings.Inventory & Reporting :Keep accurate records of daily sales, stock levels, and cash collections.Prepare and submit sales and stock reports to the supervisor at the end of the day.Ensure that the cash van is stocked with the right assortment of products for each route.Route Planning & Vehicle Maintenance :Plan and execute the most efficient routes for timely delivery to all assigned outlets.Ensure the cash van is kept in good condition, reporting any issues to the supervisor.Ensure all safety standards are followed during driving and product handling.Key Qualifications :Minimum 2-3 years of sales experience with FMCG companies in Qatar.Strong knowledge of the local retail market and FMCG distribution channels in Qatar.Valid

light driving license issued in Qatar

(mandatory); an additional

Qatar-issued medium truck license

is a major advantage.High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in sales or marketing are a plus.Strong sales, communication, and interpersonal skills.Language : Proficiency in

Malayalam

is mandatory. Knowledge of other native languages (e.g., Hindi, Tamil, Kannada) is a significant advantage.Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy products when needed.

What We Offer :Salary : Minimum QR 2,600 per month.Allowances : Food allowance of QR 300 per month.Transportation : Company vehicle provided for use during work hours.Accommodation : Provided by the company.Incentives : Sales commission and bonuses upon achieving or exceeding sales targets.Working Days : Saturday to Thursday.Working Hours : 10 hours per day (flexibility expected to meet sales targets).Contract : 2-year renewable contract.Probation Period : 3 months.
