Location: Remote (India) Project: Dorjilung Hydropower Project (1125 MW), Bhutan Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (B. E./B. Tech or M. E./M. Tech) from a recognized institution. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in hydromechanical design for hydropower or dam projects of similar capacity . Proven expertise in designing and preparing construction and fabrication drawings for hydromechanical components such as: Penstocks Gates (sluice gates, radial gates, stoplogs) Hoists and lifting systems Valves and associated structures Familiarity with international design standards and drafting tools (Auto CAD / Solid Works / similar software) . Experience working with multidisciplinary and international project teams will be an advantage. Key Responsibilities: Support the Artelia team in preparing detailed construction and fabrication drawings for hydromechanical works under their technical supervision. Interpret and develop design documentation based on basic and detailed design inputs shared by the lead engineering team. Ensure design accuracy, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards. Coordinate with project engineers and specialists for design validation, review comments, and revisions. Provide technical guidance and clarifications during the proposal and design phases. Deliver all design outputs in the required formats, layers, and drawing standards within agreed timelines.
