Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer with over 10+ years of expertise in mechanical design, load calculations, and project management. This role involves executing complex mechanical design tasks, ensuring compliance with international codes and standards, and effectively managing client relationships and project timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, exceptional communication skills, and extensive experience with relevant design software. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical Design & Load Calculations : Perform advanced load calculations, including high-side and low-side equipment selection, pressurization, static pressure, and pump head calculations. Project & Client Management : Attend meetings with local authorities, clients, and stakeholders; manage project timelines; ensure smooth executionof on-site activities and client requirements. Design Reviews & Compliance : Conduct design reviews to ensure adherence to standards such as NBC/IS, NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, and CIBSE, maintaining high-quality design outputs. Presentation & Communication : Prepare and present designs, project updates, and solutions effectively to both clients and internal teams. Technical Skills: Software Proficiency : Trane Trace Bluebeam HAP IES AutoCAD Revit Codes & Standards : National Building Code (NBC) Indian Standards (IS) NFPA, ASHRAE, SMACNA, CIBSE Qualifications: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. 10+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering, project management, and client interaction. Strong knowledge of international codes, standards, and regulatory requirements in mechanical engineering. Key Attributes: Excellent problem-solving skills and technical acumen. Strong organizational skills and ability to work under tight deadlines. High proficiency in design software and standards compliance.
