We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP Basis Consultant to join our IT team. This role is ideal for someone with foundational knowledge of SAP systems and a strong interest in SAP Basis administration. You will support system maintenance, monitoring, user administration, and assist in upgrades and patching under the guidance of senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in SAP system monitoring and performance tuning (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI, etc.)
  • Support routine tasks such as client copy, user administration, transport management, and system health checks.
  • Assist with kernel upgrades, patch applications, and SAP notes implementation.
  • Work on system refreshes, backup and restore operations.
  • Help with troubleshooting SAP and OS level issues.
  • Collaborate with functional and technical teams to support system issues and enhancements.
  • Document SAP Basis procedures and maintain system operation manuals.
  • Follow ITIL processes (incident, change, problem management).
  • Learn and support SAP HANA database administration as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in SAP Basis or equivalent technical support role (internships count).
  • Basic understanding of SAP architecture and components.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows).
  • Basic knowledge of database systems (HANA, Oracle, MS SQL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced SAP environment.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
