We are looking for hands-on engineers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in all areas of software engineering: distributed systems, identity, security, observability, and user experience.This is a greenfield opportunity to design and build new cloud centric applications from the ground up. Oracle Health Mission : Oracle Health is putting humans at the heart of the conversation and what the healthcare experience needs to look like – for patients, providers, payers, and the population. We will facilitate this by advancing the state of the art in healthcare and population level health, make it practical, effective, and real at practitioner level by connecting everything together. This will allow a patient to get point of care from anyone, anywhere or any device by providing the practitioner medical information leveraging global data.

Qualifications and ExperienceBS degree in Computer Science or related field (MS preferred)4-13 years distributed service engineering experience in a software development environmentDevelopment experience in JavaHands-on experience designing, developing, and operating public cloud servicesDeep understanding of object-oriented design and SDK development, specifically within a cloud environmentExperience working closely with architects, principals, product and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.Working familiarity with networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures.Working knowledge of any infrastructure as code tools like TerraformExperience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)Good understanding of databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.Expert in ES6, Javascript, ReactJS, Redux and TypeScriptExpert in HTML5 and CSS3, including CSS preprocessors such as Sass or LESS.Experience with large Single Page Applications with complex state management.Experience with backend services using REST APIs or GraphQL.Strong experience with responsive design and development, ensuring seamless experiences across various devices and screen sizes.Familiarity with test frameworks like Selenium, Jest, Mocha, Chai, Puppeteer.Good understanding of Linux or desire to learnDemonstrable technical leadership and mentorship skillsExperience with Cloud Engineering Infrastructure DevelopmentDemonstrated knowledge of OCI or AWS, Azure, GCP, Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and/or related technology
