Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role as a Social Media Manager based in Kolkata. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for executing social media marketing campaigns, optimizing social media presence, developing content strategies, and writing engaging social media content.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough research on current industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor activities.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with overall business objectives.
  • Set specific goals for social media performance and provide regular ROI reports.
  • Create, edit, publish, and share engaging content daily across all relevant platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, , YouTube, Pinterest), including original text, photos, videos, and news.
  • Monitor and analyze SEO and web traffic metrics to optimize content and strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive brand message and identity.
  • Engage with followers, respond promptly to queries, and monitor and manage customer reviews.
  • Oversee the design and aesthetics of social media accounts, including profile pictures, cover images, and blog layouts.
  • Suggest and implement innovative features and campaigns to boost brand awareness and engagement, such as promotions, competitions, and user-generated content.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in social media, design tools, and applications.
  • Track and report on social media insights, analytics, and performance to inform future strategies.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation, ad creation, targeting, and performance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical guidelines in all social media activities.
  • Foster and maintain partnerships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and other relevant stakeholders to amplify reach and engagement.

  • Social Media Optimization (SMO) knowledge
  • Experience in managing most social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze social media data and trends
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work independently and with multiple customers
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
