We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X ) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital ).
The Role:
As the Senior Manager of Incorporations Business, you will be responsible for overseeing and expanding our business operations for Incorporations in India. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies to drive business growth, manage operations & customer success, and ensure compliance with vendors & local regulatory . Your passion towards building 1-10 businesses, understanding of the current Incorporation market and expertise in handling complex business operations; will be critical in achieving our business objectives and establishing Razorpay as a market leader in India.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Business Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for company registration services in India, aligning with the company's overall goals and objectives of enabling startups.- Business Development and Cross-Selling Strategy: Develop and implement initiatives to identify and capitalize on cross-selling opportunities within our existing client base, as well as explore avenues for business development to attract new clients and revenue streams.- Operational Excellence and Customer Success: Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards, while also leading efforts to enhance customer success, satisfaction, and retention.- Financial Management: Manage the annual budgets & P&L, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-effective measures.- Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain strong vendor relationships, serving as a trusted advisor and ensuring vendor satisfaction and retention.- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on local regulations, ensure adherence, and manage any necessary permits, licenses, or compliance requirements.- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor objectives & key results (OKR) to track the business success, making data-driven decisions to optimize performance.- Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on the status of operations, achievements, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field/ CA/CS/LLB; MBA preferred.- Proven experience of 5-9 years in a mid-senior management role with a focus on business development, operations and strategy, preferably in the finance/legal/B2C sector.- Strong understanding of Indian Incorporation & Compliance environment, regulations, and market trends; would be a great add on.- Past experience of working in cross functional teams with product/ design/ analytics/ marketing- Exceptional leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving business growth and profitability.
