Roles and Responsibilities

Job Purpose

BFL is in the process to upgrade its existing consumer Rewards platform. Current platform which is currently serving only the internal line of businesses with Acquisition and retention will be extended to New Open Architecture, where it will serve and support acquisition, engagement and loyalty for external merchant brands, acting more like a platform as business with coalition loyalty hook.

As a completely new module, Rewards platform will bring major innovation on consumer side as well as Merchant side via Its paid premium subscription model and Star/anchor partner brand merchant model respectively.


Rewards Program and customer loyalty is the one of the latest initiatives that BFL has decided to pursue as it impacts the most critical stages of customer life cycle and act as enabler to bring larger prospect base to BFL. Rewards program will be a big value add for key app product features related to customer acquisition, engagement, improve usage frequency and uplift in value and frequency of payment transaction and drive consumer financing which will give competitive advantage to BFL app and Web against other well-known competitor in Paytech and digital lending business. Therefore, its important to have a simple, scalable, and innovative rewards program which can be customised based on business models and products within BFL and outside ecosystem

Program management (Internal -Operations)

Managing team and governing process daily reporting and MIS workflow for below mention various cross function

Daily GL reports flow to Finance and accounts team

Recon and cashback earn/Burn reports to PE-Ops team for day end of T+1 settlement

Dispute management MIS (Goodwill rewards, reinstatement and approval workflow for missing earns (Voucher, points or cashbacks)

Master sync and updates in coordination with Rewards product management team.

Settlement files movement within RMS, Payment-Ops and Finance teams

Setting up efficient flow and monitoring funding rewards account and invoice settlements with internal business P and L and External Merchant partner

Managing invoice and advance settlements with voucher vendors and Rewards catalogue management.

Proper tagging of cost centre codes for all rewards campaign and coordination with rewards campaign team.

Maintaining audit and internal controls for MIS generation, checks and approval.

Building workflows for Recon and Dashboard generation with daily Earn-Burn reporting at partner level.

Monitoring daily service query volumes, highlighting major issues and planning their resolution as per decided TAT.

8-9 years’ experience in BFSI,Retail,Paytech backend Operation

Efficient leader who can guide and motivate the team with industry best practice and innovative ways to run daily business operations.

Proficient in MS-Excel and PowerPoint

Understanding of GL entries and Financial reporting.

Must have worked on large size data either on Excel or Access.

Technology orientation and attitude to challenge status-quo.
High degree of passion and self-belief.
Collaborative work style to engage with peers & colleagues in other functions across the company.

Team handling experience of upto 8-9 member team.
Exceptionally high motivational levels and a self-starter.
Should possess the below skill sets:
- Relationship Management skills
- Excellent Communication ,Interpersonal Skills
- Analytical , Problem Solving skills
