Position Overview:

As the Government Affairs and Public Policy Lead, one will play a pivotal role in shaping our organization's interactions with government entities like NITI Aayog, Municipalities, Smart city officials, Police departments, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India by managing the relations and getting closures for smart parking solutions. In this role you are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with policymakers, advocating for our interests, and influencing policy decisions at the local, regional, and national levels.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive government affairs and public policy strategies aligned with the company's objectives2. Establish and maintain relationships with government officials, legislators, regulatory agencies, and relevant stakeholders and get conversions for smart parking solutions3. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments that could impact the company's operations and proactively advise internal stakeholders on potential implications4. Represent the company in meetings, hearings, and other forums with policymakers to articulate our positions and advocate for favorable policies5. Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including legal, communications, and business development, to ensure alignment on government affairs and public policy initiatives6. Lead efforts to draft position papers, policy briefs, and other advocacy materials to support our policy priorities7. Organize and participate in coalition-building activities with industry partners and trade associations to advance shared policy objectives8. Serve as a subject matter expert on relevant legislative and regulatory issues, providing insights and guidance to internal stakeholders9. Support the development and execution of grassroots advocacy campaigns to mobilize support for key policy initiatives10. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in government affairs and public policy, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our advocacy efforts
