Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Deputy Medical Superintendent (DMS) Medical Admin to oversee clinical and administrative coordination in a hospital setup. The candidate should have a strong medical background (MBBS/BDS) combined with leadership experience in hospital or hospitality operations, focused on patient experience, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations between clinical, paramedical, and administrative departments
- Ensure implementation of medical SOPs and adherence to quality and regulatory standards (NABH/NABL)
- Supervise junior doctors, medical officers, and nursing teams
- Monitor patient care standards and handle escalated grievances
- Liaise with department heads and facility management for effective functioning
- Lead patient safety initiatives, infection control practices, and disaster preparedness
- Review medical documentation and ensure record accuracy and completeness
- Assist the Medical Superintendent in audits, medical committee coordination, and compliance-related reporting
- Optimize patient flow, bed management, and emergency service delivery
- Foster a culture of accountability, empathy, and continuous improvement
