Job DescriptionAs a Sr. SEO Lead, you will be responsible for optimizing our clients' e-commerce websites to improve their search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You will apply SEO best practices and techniques to enhance visibility and achieve measurable results. Experience working on US projects and with US clients is a must.Objectives of this RoleDevelop and execute comprehensive search engine optimization strategies to achieve business objectives.Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.Collaborate with content creators and digital marketing teams to develop and optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for improved organic visibility.Execute link-building activities to ensure quality links from reputable sources.Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as content, design, and product, to ensure optimal content performance.Collaborate with marketing teams to integrate SEO with other digital marketing initiatives for cohesive campaigns.Your TasksConduct thorough keyword research and SEO analysis to identify relevant target keywords and phrases.Develop and execute effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and SERP rankings.Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs to ensure alignment with target keywords and enhance search engine crawlability.Identify technical SEO issues and collaborate with the web development team to implement solutions for improved website performance and user experience.Conduct SEO audits, competitive analysis, and benchmarking to identify opportunities for improvement and stay ahead of competitors in search rankings.Track and analyze website traffic, user behavior, and conversion rates to assess the effectiveness of SEO strategies and make data-driven recommendations.Stay abreast of emerging SEO trends and technologies, exploring innovative approaches to enhance our SEO efforts further.Required Skills and QualificationsA bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, or a related field.E-commerce experience preferred.Relevant SEO certifications (such as from Google, HubSpot, and/or Semrush).4+ years of experience as an SEO manager or a similar SEO-focused role.In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and digital marketing trends, with a strong understanding of the Indian search landscape.Proficiency with SEO and analytics tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Google Keyword Planner, and Google Analytics.Knowledge of A/B testing, local SEO, and SEO reporting tools.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and website optimization platforms, such as WordPress.Experience with SEO for local businesses and Google My Business optimization.Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.Preferred Skills and QualificationsBasic understanding of website design, development, HTML/CSS coding, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising, and link-building strategies.Knowledge of technical SEO, including speed optimization for web and mobile.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills.Familiarity with social media marketing and its impact on SEO.Experience with SEO testing and experimentation.Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) principles.Strong project management skills to handle multiple SEO initiatives simultaneously.Interested?We'd love to hear from youSend your resume to CompanyUpbott Consulting Private Limited is a new-age boutique e-commerce technology and marketing consulting company, catering to B2B and B2C e-commerce businesses in the US and UK.
