Location: Fully Remote within IndiaDuration: 6-9 Months contract (with possible extension)Working hours : 11 am – 8 pm (IST) About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ServiceNow Senior Configurator / Tech Lead to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, configuration, and implementation of ServiceNow solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. You will serve as a technical expert, mentor junior team members, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality ServiceNow applications and modules. Key Responsibilities: Lead the configuration, customization, and development of ServiceNow modules. Must Have strong expertise in HRSD and any two of the following - (ITSM, ITOM, SPM, GRC, Agentic AI, WSD) based on business requirements . Collaborate with business analysts, process owners, and stakeholders to gather and document requirements. Design and implement workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and integrations within ServiceNow. Provide technical leadership to the ServiceNow team; mentor and guide junior configurators and developers. Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and security guidelines. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues; perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions. Conduct code reviews and ensure quality deliverables. Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on platform strategy and enhancements. Stay current with ServiceNow releases and new features; evaluate and recommend adoption where appropriate. Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user guides. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 8-10+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration and development. Must have strong expertise in HRSD and any two of these ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, SPM, GRC, Agentic AI, and WSD. Experience with scripting languages (JavaScript, GlideScript) and integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server). Proven experience leading technical teams and delivering complex ServiceNow projects. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification required; additional certifications (e.g., CIS-ITSM, CIS-Discovery) a plus. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of ITIL processes and frameworks. Experience with ServiceNow Performance Analytics, Service Portal, or App Engine Studio. Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices.
