Job Title: Medical Doctor - Health Insurance Vertical

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Doctor to join our health insurance team. The ideal candidate will leverage their medical expertise to evaluate health insurance claims, provide medical insights for policy development, and support our clients with accurate health-related information.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Evaluation: Review and assess medical claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with policy terms.
  • Medical Consultation: Provide expert medical opinions on complex cases and support the claims team with medical insights.
  • Policy Development: Collaborate with the policy development team to create and update health insurance policies based on the latest medical guidelines and practices.
  • Client Support: Offer medical advice and support to clients, helping them understand their health conditions and the coverage provided by their insurance plans.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze health data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improving health outcomes and reducing costs.
  • Compliance: Ensure all medical practices and recommendations comply with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest medical research, treatments, and healthcare regulations to provide the best possible advice and support.

Qualifications:

  • Essential - M.B.B.S. degree and a valid medical license
  • Preferably a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and a valid medical license.
  • Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably with experience in health insurance or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology, treatments, and healthcare systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • High ethical standards and respect for patient confidentiality.
