Job Opportunity:
The role of a Medical Officer involves managing new cases, participating in patient care and treatment under supervision.
Main Responsibilities:
- Handle all new cases including taking the medical history, examining patients and making diagnoses or provisional diagnoses as soon as possible after admission.
- Participate in the general management and care of patients by undertaking preliminary investigations and treatments under supervision.
- Ensure that all prescribed investigations and treatments are carried out and review cases daily or more frequently.
- Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries for each patient authenticated by a consultant.
- Perform procedures under supervision.
