Job Title: POWER BI lead/ Senior developer

Location: Bangalore

Primary Overall 10+ yrs Relevant Power BI Development - 8+ years strong experience


- UX/UI( 6-month-1 yr) years

- 1-2 years in Snowflake (should be able to connect databases with Power BI)

- Direct query , SQL

Job Description:

- Strong Power BI Developer

- 10 years of experience working directly with Power BI

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI Desktop and Online Service

- Experience in UI/UX

- Experience in connecting Snowflake Data to Power BI using Direct Query with huge volume of data.

- Experience in handling large volume of data

- Experience in Establishing Snowflake connection and extraction into Power BI

- Experiences in Data security, checking Azure log analytics.

- Experience in Data loading mechanism

- Data experience (data architecture, data modeling, data engineering)

- Create dashboards and interactive visual reports using Power BI experience with writing and debugging SQL queries.

- Experience setting up automated data refresh of dashboards.

- Have proven experience in visual analytics best practices, development processes, and knowledge of typical BI & analytics tools and technologies (Power BI, Qlik Sense, Tableau, etc.)

- Ability to integrate reporting components from multiple data sources

- Effective analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work concurrently across multiple technologies (e.g. Power BI, Business objects, Qlikview) depending upon specific needs of the client

- Experience in optimizing dashboards with focus on usability, performance, flexibility and standardization

- Experience in end-to-end implementation of BI projects for developing a portfolio of scorecards, KPIs, reports & dashboards

- Provides technical expertise in the diagnosis and resolution of an issue, including the determination and provision of workaround solution or escalation to owners

- Client-facing experience in a consulting environment among mid-level to senior leadership

- A fantastic communicator at all levels

- Passionate about data visualization

- Ability to perform training and mentorship (ref:hirist.tech)
