ChemNetBase Lead Senior Developer Role
The position for the Lead Senior Developer duties requires the development, management, and support all 10 of the CHEMnetBASE (www.chemnetbase.com) suite of products and authentication and customer management systems.
CHEMnetBASE is a suite of 10 interactive databases mainly used in the academic and research industries, including the Handbook of Chemistry and Physics. The product websites are all proprietary and written in JSF (Primefaces), with backing files using JSON, Lucene indexes.
Qualifications
Skills required:

Full stack Java and JSF developer
Knowledge of Chemical formulae and Chemical naming conventions.
Knowledge of the Physical Chemical properties and measurements.
Knowledge of Chemical structures, the formats representing them (e.g. SMILES, InChi, .mol) and chemical structure editors such as ChemAxon Marvin or ChemDraw.
Must have excellent spoken and written communication skills.
Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience.
Must have led a team or overseen a major development for a minimum of 2 years.
Docker Skills must be excellent.
JSF in-depth knowledge required. CSS, CDI, composite components, etc.
Database programming (ideally SQL Server T-SQL) to write functions and stored procedures.
JSON use within JSF application to create complex models.
Some familiarity oAuth2 authentication required.
Lucene indexing knowledge very desirable.
Some knowledge of Counter Reports very desirable.
Willing to self-educate on new specialist software used for chemical data.

It is required that all products are keep updated and redeveloped when necessary.
This position allows the developer to design and develop new modules and/or products for.
The person filling this role will need to be highly organized and be able to handle multiple projects in a demanding environment.
The Senior Developer will need to plan the work schedule for the team and make plans for how to move all these systems into the future with new technologies.
