JD: Mechanical Design Engineer with 1-2 years of Exp. - SolidWorks

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Design Engineer with CADLink Technologies Private Limited, located in Bengaluru. The Design Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks which include designing mechanical components and systems, creating product designs using Solidworks. The role requires proficiency in SolidWorks.

  • Ability to read, understand and visualize part, assembly and manufacturing drawings.
  • Must posses excellent skills in SolidWorks - Part modelling, Surface Modelling, Sheet metal, Assy & drawing creation
  • Familiar in creating Sheetmetal, Plastic and Casting models and generating its 2D drawings
  • Awareness of ANSI 14.5 standards for dimensioning and tolerancing.
  • Ability to read and understand model/drawing data in Creo, Inventor, AutoCAD & PDF.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a team
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of PLM tool like Windchill shall be an added advantage.
  • Should be proficient in using Microsoft office tools like Excel, Word and PowerPoint etc.

Education and Background:

Mechanical Engineering graduates or Diploma Mechanical Engineers (Preference - GTTC and NTTF candidates from Tool and Die background with product design experience)
