Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between our clients and technical team, ensuring that business requirements are clearly understood, documented, and translated into actionable solutions. This role will be critical in driving successful project delivery, enhancing client satisfaction, and contributing to pre-sales and post-sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.- Conduct feasibility studies and recommend solutions to meet client needs.- Create and maintain detailed project documentation, including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and workflows.
Communication & Collaboration:
- Serve as a liaison between clients, technical teams, and internal departments.- Ensure that technical teams clearly understand client expectations.- Conduct regular client and team meetings to review progress and address concerns.
Project Vision & Clarity:
- Develop a clear and actionable vision for projects based on business objectives.- Work with project managers to prioritize deliverables and align with client goals.
Pre-Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team with creating proposals, responding to RFPs, and preparing presentations.- Conduct research and analysis to support business development efforts.
Post-Sales Project Management:
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.- Support project managers in defining timelines, deliverables, and key milestones.
Quality Assurance:
- Validate deliverables to ensure they meet business requirements.- Collaborate with the QA team to ensure that testing aligns with client expectations.
Process Improvement:
- Identify areas for process optimization and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development, IT services, or a similar industry.- Strong understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and Agile methodologies.- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.- Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and visualization tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).- Experience in pre-sales and post-sales support is a plus.
