Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical components and systems in Solid Works for road-rail vehicles.- Lead projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet design specifications.- Perform advanced load/stress and dynamic analyses to ensure designs meet safety and performance standards.- Innovate and implement design improvements for better efficiency and cost effectiveness.- Prepare and review technical documentation, including design drawings and specifications.- Assist the Lead Design Engineer in overseeing the design team’s operations.- Contribute to the development of design strategies and ensure their implementation.- Coordinate with other departments to ensure designs meet cross-functional requirements.- Oversee the progress of projects from concept to production, ensuring they adhere to timelines and budgets.- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance and standards.- Conduct complex design and analysis tasks to ensure vehicle performance meets standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.- Must have extensive knowledge of SOLIDWORKS.- Significant 4+ years of experience in heavy machinery industry preferably EOT, Road vehicle, Automobiles.- Proficient in mechanisms, drive systems, powertrains, vehicle design, load/stress analysis, and dynamic analysis and other design calculations.- Proficient in CAD software and analysis tools for load/stress and dynamic analysis.- Extensive experience in mechanical design, preferably in road-rail vehicle manufacturing.- Experience with design software such as Solidworks, Auto CAD and PDM- Extensive knowledge in Machining, GD&T, Hydraulic & Pneumatics, and proper documentation in standards.- Must have good knowledge in workshop and field trial.- Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills.
