Job Location: - Chembur (East) Mumbai, Maharashtra
Designation: - Senior Accountant
Rolls: - On-Rolls.
Educational Qualification: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Salary: - Upto 6.0 LPA CTC completely based on interview evaluation process.
Experience: – Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in the real estate sector,
Job Nature: - Full Time onsite job.
Number of Positions: - 1 No.
Language Known: - English, Hindi, Marathi.
Industry : - Real Estate/Developers
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in the real estate industry for one of our esteemed client. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act (RERA) and Goods and Services Tax (GST). This role requires an individual who can manage financial operations, ensure compliance with relevant regulations, and provide strategic financial insights.
Key Responsibilities –
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
RERA Compliance: Oversee all financial aspects related to RERA, including maintaining proper records and ensuring timely filings.
GST Management: Handle GST returns, compliance, and reconciliation. Ensure accurate tax calculations and timely payments.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide financial forecasts.
Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage invoicing, payments, and collections. Ensure timely processing of payments and receipts.
Internal Controls: Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Audit Coordination: Liaise with external auditors for annual audits and manage internal audits to ensure financial accuracy and regulatory compliance.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions, including cost analysis, profitability analysis, and investment appraisal.
Qualification & Experience -
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 4 years in the real estate sector.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage.
In-depth knowledge of RERA, GST, and other relevant regulations.
Understanding of real estate accounting principles and practices.
