Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) IT Operations

Location: Mumbai, India
Work Mode: Work from Office, 24/7 support & rotational shifts
Experience: 6-10 years

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the technical expert for IT operations in the AMC business domain.
  • Architect, deploy, and manage OpenStack environments, Kubernetes clusters, Docker containers, and Kafka systems.
  • Design and optimize database structures for Redis, PostgreSQL, MySQL, and Oracle.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to L2 engineers.
  • Drive automation and process improvements to enhance service reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT operations with business goals.
  • Ensure security compliance and adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Oversee and optimize Unix systems, OpenShift platforms, and associated tools.
  • Perform configuration management and disaster recovery.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and applications using tools like Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues within the Kubernetes environment.
  • Optimize RabbitMQ and Kafka configurations for performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Monitor RabbitMQ and Kafka performance to ensure uninterrupted data flow, enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Support IT operations with expertise in financial applications, ensuring alignment with industry-specific needs such as regulatory reporting, transaction processing, and compliance audits.
  • Coordinate with service providers and provide operational support during audits.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of payment gateways, RBI norms, SEBI regulations, NSE/BSE operations, KYC norms, government regulations, and financial reporting practices.
  • Automate deployment and scaling of Azure IaaS solutions and Kubernetes clusters.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) or MCA.
  • 6-10 years of experience in IT operations, with a focus on finance and IT domains.
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Advanced knowledge of Redis, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle databases, and Unix systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Willingness to relocate to Mumbai.
