Job Description:

1) Review and interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, GA drawings, and 3D models with accuracy.

2) Check drawings for dimensional correctness, clarity, and compliance with standards.

3) Assist in preparing detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and Bill of Materials (BOM).

4) Support senior engineers in design modifications and drawing updates as per client/project needs.

5) Ensure adherence to company standards, safety norms, and design guidelines.

6) Coordinate with Production, Purchase, and Quality teams for drawing-related clarifications.

7) Maintain documentation of drawings, revisions, and project records.

8) Contribute to design standardization and continuous improvement.

Expectations from the Role:

1) Strong ability to read, understand, and check drawings with minimal errors.

2) Deliver accurate outputs within given timelines.

3) Be proactive in learning and adapting to project requirements.

4) Effective communication with cross-functional teams.

5) Commitment to quality and precision in design work.

Skills Required:

1) Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.

2) Good knowledge of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes.

3) Strong skills in drawing interpretation, GD&T, and tolerance analysis.

4) Basic knowledge of material selection and fabrication standards.

5) Analytical mindset with attention to detail.

6) Problem-solving ability and willingness to learn new tools.

Teamwork and coordination skills.

MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and documentation.

Experience: 2 - 3 Years.

Qualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical Engineering).

Job Type: Full-time
