Lead the design and implementation of the overall Power BI architecture, ensuring it aligns with the organization's data governance strategy and long-term goals.
Partner with business stakeholders to understand their reporting and analytical requirements.
Design and develop complex data models that optimize performance, security, and scalability. Implement data governance best practices, including data security, access control, and data lineage.
Manage and maintain the Power BI infrastructure, including data sources, gateways, and refreshes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices, and identify opportunities to improve the organization's BI capabilities. Mentor and guide junior Power BI developers and analysts.
Develop and document technical standards and processes for Power BI development.
Troubleshoot complex Power BI issues and identify root causes. Qualifications 8+ years of experience in BI and data warehousing solutions design and development.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Power BI, including expertise in data modeling, DAX, security, and performance optimization.
In-depth knowledge of data warehouse concepts (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling) and experience working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Synapse Analytics, Amazon Redshift) is a plus.
Strong understanding of data security best practices and experience with implementing Row-Level Security (RLS) in Power BI.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proven ability to lead and manage projects, ensuring successful delivery within deadlines and budget constraints.
