Fabriclore is a VC backed fabric sourcing platform that helps fashion business source, design, print and test all at one place at lower MoQ. We are on the mission to organise a highly fragmented supply chain of made-to-order fabrics. 

Position Overview:

We're seeking a creative and technically skilled Senior Associate in Textile Development to drive our creative fabric design development initiatives and collaborate with fashion brands to develop distinctive collections.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development of innovative textile designs and concepts based on market trends and brand requirements

  • Create comprehensive mood boards that align with different market segments and brand aesthetics

  • Work closely with printers and dyers to develop fabric samples and ensure quality standards

  • Present fabric collections to fashion brands and guide them through the development process

  • Monitor global fashion and textile trends to inform design directions

  • Maintain strong relationships with vendors and manufacturing partners

  • Document technical specifications and maintain design archives

Required Qualifications:

  • B.Des in Textile Design from a reputed institute

  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in textile design and development

  • Strong portfolio demonstrating diverse textile design projects

  • In-depth knowledge of fabric construction, properties, and finishing techniques

  • Proven experience in working with printers and dyers

  • Excellence in creating trend-focused mood boards and design presentations

Technical Skills:

  • Strong understanding of print, weave, and surface design techniques

  • Knowledge of fabric testing and quality assessment

  • Expertise in color theory and color management

  • Familiarity with sustainable textile practices

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities

  • Strong project management capabilities

  • Creative problem-solving approach

  • Ability to work under deadlines

  • Good leadership and team collaboration skills
