Position Overview:

As an Assistant Professor (Practice Track) of Data Analytics, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the curriculum and inspire students to excel in data analytics. Your expertise and passion for the subject will be instrumental in preparing our students to become adept at analyzing complex business data, making informed decisions, and leveraging analytics to drive strategic growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging, cutting-edge courses in data analytics.
  • Facilitate a dynamic learning environment by employing innovative teaching methodologies, case studies, and real-world examples.
  • Mentor and guide students to help them understand and apply data analytics concepts effectively.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and research advancements in data analytics.
  • Contribute to developing new courses, programs, and initiatives related to data analytics.
  • Collaborate with faculty members and industry experts to enhance the curriculum and create interdisciplinary learning opportunities.


Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated expertise in data analytics, machine learning, statistical modeling, data visualization, and relevant software/tools (e.g., R, Python, SQL, Tableau).
  • Teaching Experience of a minimum of 3 years (not necessarily full-time)
  • Industry Experience

Asst. professor- 6 to 10 years after a master’s degree

Associate professor- 11 to 15 years after a master’s degree

Full professor- More than 15 years in senior industry positions
