Role OverviewAs an Account Manager at edumerge, you will own a portfolio of school or college accounts, with the primary goal of driving Net Revenue Retention (NRR). Your success will come from expanding usage within existing group schools and generating qualified referrals through deep engagement with Principals, Chairpersons, and Heads of Departments.This is not a support or delivery coordination role — those are managed by our Customer Enablement team. Your job is to own the relationship, influence strategic stakeholders, and surface growth opportunities.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and grow a portfolio of accounts aligned to your experience and capacity, typically ranging between ₹50 L to ₹1.5 Cr in ARRDrive strong Net Revenue Retention (NRR) through expansion in group schools and high-quality referrals from Principals and ChairpersonsBuild trusted advisor relationships with Principals, HODs, Chairpersons, and Head Office decision-makersCollaborate with Customer Enablement Managers (CEMs) to monitor usage trends and adoption risksIdentify and qualify expansion opportunities — new modules, branches, or use casesProactively source referrals and act on warm intros to other institutionsParticipate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), EB connects, and strategic account planningWho You Are1-2 years of experience in Account Management or CS roles in Saa S, ERP, or Ed TechStrong stakeholder engagement skills with experience working with CXO/decision-maker levelDemonstrated ability to influence renewals, referrals, or upsell outcomesHigh ownership mindset — treats each customer like their own businessExcellent communication skills in English and Hindi (regional language fluency is a plus)Experience working with educational institutions is a strong advantageKPIs & Success MetricsNet Revenue Retention (NRR) per quarterNumber of Executive Business Connects (Principals, HODs, etc.)Qualified Referrals SourcedExpansion Pipeline Created and AttributedCompensation & Benefits Competitive salary with 80:20 Fixed to Variable structureVariable payout fully tied to NRR performance and referralsPerformance bonus for exceeding 120% NRRFast-track growth into Strategic AM or Enterprise AE roles
