Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes in assigned cuisine (Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, or Continental)
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, food safety, and kitchen organization
  • Follow standard recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency
  • Support senior chefs in mise en place, cooking, plating, and service
  • Ensure timely delivery of food during service hours
  • Uphold Symphony's culinary philosophy of quality, innovation, and guest delight
  • Contribute to menu planning and seasonal specials when required
  • Maintain inventory and assist in stock rotation and requisitioning

Candidate Profile CriteriaDetails

  • Experience 2–3 years in a hotel or resort kitchen setting
  • Culinary Expertise Proficiency in at least one cuisine: Indian, Chinese, Tandoor, or Continental
  • Education Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts preferred
  • Skills Knife skills, time management, teamwork, adaptability
  • Personality Energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about food
  • LanguageBasic English communication; Hindi or regional language is a plus
