We are seeking a highly experienced Operations Analyst to join our team and support our financial operations.


Position Summary: The Operations Analyst will be responsible for managing and overseeing Management Information Systems (MIS), conducting internal audits, comparing the financial books and the Investment deck, etc., on a regular basis and maintaining data integrity within our financial ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of total experience with at least 2 years in a similar role within the financial reporting industry, be tech-savvy, and possess hands-on experience with backend software tools.


Key Responsibilities:

MIS Reporting:

  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and yearly MIS reports.
  • Maintain financial data mainly of the family’s investments.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports.


Internal Auditing:

  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with established procedures and policies.
  • Identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of audit findings and follow-up actions.
  • Create a yearly audit report for all stakeholders involved. 


Data Maintenance:

  • Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data in the systems and reconcile the same with the Financial Accounts maintained.
  • Regularly update and maintain financial databases.
  • Implement data management best practices to enhance data quality and accessibility.
  • Utilize tech-enabled data management tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.


Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry and internally set standards.
  • Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate and interact with AMC, Wealth managers and institutions to maintain records.


Assist in bookkeeping (A plus to have, but not compulsory) :

  • Assist the Finance and Accounting team in day-to-day accounting functions.
  • Assist in the preparation of TDS/GST and other statutory returns.
  • Assist in providing the Income tax-related statements from the relevant sources regarding the Investments made by Family office members.
  • Provide all the supporting papers/statements for the Investment transactions made by the Family office members.


Collaboration:

  • Work closely with other departments to support financial operations.
  • Provide assistance during external audits and regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with IT to enhance financial systems and reporting tools.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g. NISM-Series-VII, CPA, CFA etc.) is good to have.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the financial services industry working in the backend function, preferably within a family office or wealth management firm.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping, Taxation (TDS, GST, Income tax, etc.), and Bank reconciliation is preferable (Good to have).
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting, internal auditing, and data management.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis software and tools (e.g., Excel, Macros/ V Lookup, SQL Queries and any other MIS software used in the industry.
  • Tech-savvy with experience in tech-enabled data management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
