Location: BangaloreDepartment: MerchandisingPackage: Upto 4-5LPA
Key Responsibilities:Carry out complete Merchandising role (end to end – Product Development/Costing/PPM/Production/Wash to Delivery and Payment)Monitor production schedules and delivery timelinesWork with cross functional teams to ensure all closures for Production file releaseReview tech packs and ensure manufacturing compliance and create BOM for factoryTrack sample development and approval processesManage bulk production follow-up and quality controlCalculate costs and negotiate prices with factory/trim suppliersHandle production-related queries and troubleshootingCoordinate with various departments (Pattern, Cutting, Sewing, QC, Finishing)
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Textile, Fashion Manufacturing, or related field4-7 year’s experience in garment manufacturingStrong understanding of garment construction and technical specificationsKnowledge of fabric types, production processes, and quality standardsExperience with production planning and scheduling
Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)Understanding of garment costing and pricingKnowledge of international quality standardsFamiliarity with PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systemsUnderstanding of industrial machinery capabilities
Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsGood team management and coordination abilities
Working Conditions:All Saturdays WorkingMay need to work flexible hours during peak productionPossible travel to meet buyers or visit supplier facilitiesFast-paced environment requiring quick decision-making
