Job Title : VP - Corporate Development & Investor Relations

Location : East of Kailash, New Delhi (Onsite)

Reports to : Founder/CEO


About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Development professional to join our team. This role will focus primarily on fundraising and strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the fundraising process, strong relationships with investment banks (IBs), and a track record of successfully helping startups raise growth capital.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the fundraising process, including preparation of pitch materials, financial models, investor communication, and negotiations.
  • Build and leverage relationships with investors, including venture capital firms, private equity, and investment banks, to facilitate successful fundraising rounds.
  • Work closely with the founder and executive team to define strategic priorities and align them with investor interests and market trends.
  • Drive the due diligence process, ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders, and manage the completion of legal, financial, and operational documentation.
  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and potential strategic partnerships to inform fundraising and corporate development strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and assess fundraising opportunities and market conditions to provide informed recommendations to the leadership team.


Key Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of total experience, with at least 5+ years at a high-growth startup or working with an Investment Bank, raising funds for a growth round and handling corporate development initiatives.
  • Proven experience raising growth capital rounds for startups.
  • Strong relationships with investment banks, venture capital firms, and other key players in the fundraising ecosystem.
  • Deep understanding of the venture capital and private equity landscape, including fundraising processes, investor expectations, and deal structuring.
  • Experience preparing and presenting pitch decks, financial models, and business plans to investors.
  • Solid understanding of legal and financial documentation requirements in fundraising.
  • Ability to manage complex negotiations and relationships across multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with a focus on driving business growth through capital raising efforts.


Desired Qualifications:

  • MBA from a reputed business school.
  • Engineering degree (B.Tech, B.E., B.Com or equivalent).
  • Hands-on experience working with Founders to drive fundraising outcomes.
