Job Title: Business Analyst / Project Manager (ESG & BFSI Domain Expertise)

Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Business Analyst or Project Manager with over 12 years of experience, specializing in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) domains. The ideal candidate will be proficient in managing complex policy-driven projects, collaborating with risk and control teams, and providing strategic direction in a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Development & Agreement: Lead projects where policy requirements need to be agreed upon and developed in alignment with ESG and BFSI frameworks.
- Workshops Facilitation: Conduct and lead workshops for risk and control topics, working with first-line and second-line of defense SMEs to define problem statements, explore solutions, and assess the impact of various options.
- Risk & Issue Resolution: Lead the resolution of risks and issues, especially on policy-related topics where there is no initial consensus.
- Documentation & Escalation Support: Prepare and document proposals for senior management, supporting decision-making and escalation processes as required.
- Policy Feedback Management: Oversee and manage the entire feedback process for policy development, ensuring that all stakeholders are engaged and that feedback is addressed effectively.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in leading policy-driven projects, particularly in ESG and BFSI domains.
- Expertise in risk and control topics, working closely with 1LoD (First Line of Defense) and 2LoD (Second Line of Defense) stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve complex issues related to policy development.
- Excellent documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to support decision-making at senior levels.
- Experience managing workshops and collaborative meetings with diverse teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field. MBA or a relevant certification in ESG or BFSI domains would be an advantage.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in business analysis or project management, with a strong focus on policy, risk, and control frameworks.
- Deep understanding of ESG principles and their application within BFSI sectors.
