Associate Director

Lead cross departmental functions and work in collaboration with operational departments (Crew Control, Crew Scheduling, Training, and Catering, Base Recruitment etc.) to provide input on issues such as flight delays, roster needs, technical issues, crew promotions, recruitment, training and development etc. Ensure these are effectively communicated and understood by crewManagement of ongoing crew operations projects and contribute towards its successConsistently driving towards improving OTP and weekly performance numbersWork with Inflight Services to proactively develop and implement a range of strategies to ensure the IFS team deliver and exceed the Customer Service, Cost Reduction, Performance Management, Safety and Operational objectives of the airline whilst ensuring consistently high standards of service to customers onboard are deliveredDrive all new or existing projects development and implementation to support operational excellence at Base and contribute towards to the changing business needsBudget, Analysis, Planning and Report submission to Inflight Services to ensure the right number of base resources are available to meet the ongoing operational growthProvide leadership to the Inflight Services Team (For Cabin Crew and Base Team) by ensuring that all strategies and future direction of the company goals are communicated with the teamTotal accountable in delivering all strategies and implementation of the same and also sharing the evaluation reports with all stake holdersSetting priorities with the base team to ensure the ongoing success factors are understood and the performance measures are clearly committed too ( reduce customer complaints and increase crew availability and customer compliments)Monitor and drive total accountability with individual’s for achieving these respective goalsCreate procedures, policies and guidelines in line with corporate policies and IFS standards to ensure fair and consistent management of Cabin Crew and Base teamSet KRA’s for attendance statistics and ensure accountability for achieving these results and implement effective solutions for Crew and Base Team (Sickness, Absences, Code of Conduct etc.,)Support and promote a culture of safety and security within the In-Flight Services DepartmentEnsuring all costs are kept within IFS department budget and find innovative ways to drive quality IFS - Base IndiGo / IFS – Bases: IFS/BHJD1/4/19To be on-call when required to make high level decisions to minimize operational disruption whilst taking into consideration crew welfare and team welfareLead Cabin Crew promotional and development program ( Future Talent program and SCCM promotional program) thereby supporting robust succession planningManage an effective performance management program for Cabin Crew to monitor and manage onboard cabin crew performance with in line of the Performance vertical of IFS departmentDrive performance management system to ensure Cabin Crew are recognized as onboard and are accountable and credible in their rolesDrive all Cabin Crew incentives, rewards and recognition program to maintain and enhance cabin crew engagementIntroduce new engaging initiatives at base for cabin crew to deliver the highest levels of onboard customer service and also be part of company cultureDrive business change and progression across the cabin crew community, leading significant organizational change initiatives to support the business in a positive mannerMonitor, Plan and develop the base team and drive culture of excellenceCoach and plan the up skilling workshop wherein requiredBuild strong and efficient roster and be well planned for future demandsTeam development and enhancing their skillset as desired and introduced new learning initiativesFoster self-learning attitude and show efforts in enhancing self-skillset
