Backend Executive for Broking company

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end backend operations for insurance policies (Life/Health/General, as applicable).
  • Support underwriting team by reviewing applications, verifying documents, and assessing risk factors.
  • Process and update policy applications, endorsements, renewals, and cancellations in the system.
  • Perform preliminary underwriting checks (age, health, occupation, financials, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with underwriters for additional requirements and ensure timely follow-ups.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines, underwriting policies, and data confidentiality standards.
  • Assist in claims-related backend processing with underwriting inputs, if required.
  • Generate reports, trackers, and MIS for management review.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer support, and risk teams to resolve operational and underwriting queries.
  • Identify gaps in processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Required Skills & Competencies:
  • Strong understanding of insurance underwriting principles (Life/Health/General, as relevant).
  • Knowledge of backend operations, policy servicing, and documentation processes.
  • Analytical and risk-assessment skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and coordination skills (written & verbal).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and insurance systems/portals.
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong integrity and decision-making ability while handling confidential information.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹17, ₹25,000.00 per month
